Rhythm is fundamental to music, providing structure and meaning across cultures. However, conventional linear Western notation often fails to capture the diversity and complexity of global traditions like the cyclical patterns of Indian tala or African polyrhythms. This raises broader questions: Here exploring a circular visualisation and interface to understand rhythmic patterns of diverse traditions.
Currently being implementated as part of an exhibit for Param Science Experience Center, Bengaluru.
